Doposud provedeno bez úspěchu

Customer told us that the battery was replaced once, but he is suggesting that he may have damaged the battery because he did not code the vehicle indicating that a new battery was installed. Due to this the charging rate map remained adjusted to an old battery.

Závěr

VOZIDLO JSEM NEOPRAVOVAL

During the testing time with new accumulator and after repair of engine grounding, the "waking" phenomen of all control units when car not in use does not occured any more. The current during night was without interuption 13mA (every 600s there were one 500mA pulse)   
When repetedly started the faulty course of potencial on engine block was founded. Preliminarily our analysis is based on defective accumulator damaged by several discharging by waking system where the reason could be nontigthtened connection between frame and engine. 
The car will be handed over to customer for contemplation and accumulator will be tested by discharging outside of car.

... as we were interested in merits from boot where accumulator is placed. 


Accumulator test (4876/3)

Eventhought the anylyser shows nearly normal voltage and the engine starts well the result "replacement" shows on accumulator demaged by deep discharging...


Voltage on starter during starting. (4876/4)

When starting with old accumulator the voltage on starter fall to 2V, when crank shaft turning by starter the merit was 5V higher eg 7V ....


Start with new accumulator (4876/5)

The voltage rised in most critical point to 3,9V with new accumulator (measured on starter). On accumulator it falls to 10V. The fault of voltage lost is somewhere on the way... 


Charging current - new accumulator (4876/6)

Colors and numbers of channels: 1 brown = Voltage on alternator 2 blue = Charging current 3 green = BSD - data bus - one cable Measured: idle Description of picture: The charging fluctuate but it is matter of faulty placing of oscilosscope frame on car body instead on accumulator minus pole (accumulator is in the boot). Alternator is fully functional and it does not report any faults.


Defective engine grounding - engine starts on 3,8 Volts! (4876/8)

Channels colours and numbers: 1 = brovn - starting current in front of the starter 2 = blue voltage on starter PLUS 3 = voltage on engine block - engine grounding Recorded during successfull start. Picture description: Oscilloscope grounding was connected on minus pole of accumulator in the boot and in the engine department the voltages on starter and on grounding were measured. Readings 9,4 and 5,6 shows that the starter is turning on 3,8V because the loss on grounding is 5,618V!!!! When turning by starter than 2,6V!!!! Despite this the engine starts on first try with charged accumulator.


Starter cabling (4876/9)

There are two grounding cables - one from starter to engine block and other from engine block to car body. Both has to be checked.


When small thing caused a big problem. (4876/10)

The non tightened connection from factory. (cable between car body and engine) The display of fault was not bad starts but sporadicall discharging of accumulator. The ECU wakes up in intervals and if it miss some signals it switches some action members... 


Waking after 4 hours (4876/14)
